To date, the total number of LEGO Star Wars minifigures is 1261 (according to BrickLink), and there are many different versions of key characters, such as Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, darth Vader, etc., and even the rarest versions will appear in multiple sets, making it not so difficult to collect them.
However, there are some LEGO Star Wars minifigures that are not so easy to get. In the past two decades, for some reason, many dolls have appeared only once, that is, in only one suit. There are obscure little people in it, but there are also seven iconic characters that make it hard to believe you've only met them once. Let's take a look at who they are:
7 - Zakus
The Lego Zuckuss minifigure complements the bounty hunter lineup that appeared in Star Wars Episode II: The Empire Strikes Back. However, while 4-LOM, Bosque, IG-88, Boba Fett, and even Denga's minifigures have appeared many times, Zakus has only appeared once in the 75243 LEGO Star Wars 20th Anniversary Set: Bounty Hunter Spaceship. 6- Zam Wesser
We just have one Zam Wesser LEGO figure, a face-changing bounty hunter who appears in Star Wars EPISODE II: Attack of the Clones, a scene recreated in the 2002 7133 Bounty Hunter Pursuit Set. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the film's release, will there be a new Zam Wesser figure?
5 - Ola Sim
Ola Sheen may be the most obscure character on this list, but she played her part in Clone Wars, not just as a background character in Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace. She does have her own LEGO minifigure, only to appear in a set — the 2011 7930 Bounty Hunter Attack Gunboat.
4 - BellEonana
Do you remember Bell Ogana? Lego made his minifigure in 2019, attached to the 75244 Tandiff IV spacecraft. Strangely enough, he's only appeared once in more than twenty years of LEGO Star Wars history, after all, he played a fairly important role in the prequel trilogy, raising Princess Leia and even appearing in Star Wars Story: Rogue One.
3 - Captain Rex
In 2020, with the launch of the 75280 501 Legion Clone Soldiers, something around the Clone Wars is exciting. But it lacked Captain Rex, the leader of the 501st Army, who had only been seen in the 75012 BARC flying locomotive in 2013. Now if you want to get this doll, you need to spend at least £98 to buy a new one or £64 to get a used doll.
2- Marshal Sauron
For a while, it seemed impossible for you to get a Sauron Marshal figure, as the character only appears in books and spin-off universe works. But then Disney brought the Chiss military genius into history in Star Wars: Rise of the Rebels Season 3. Lego launched the Marshal Sauron figure in the 75170 Phantom in 2017, but it has never appeared since.
1- Queen Of Amidala
In Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Padmé Nabeli Amidala's majestic costume is one of the most memorable images, and this LEGO figure is also very gorgeous and rare. She has intricate constructions with unique headdresses and clothes that only appeared in the 2012 9499 Ganga submarine suit. Such a high-cost mold is only used once, which is indeed a pity.
