According to the notification, Shanghai Shengdayuan Information Technology Co., Ltd. will recall the "Jiabai" intelligent clothes dryer with the model J-LYJ100Z-GG produced between May 1, 2021 and December 15, 2021, involving 201 units.

The reason for the recall is that the soft wire holder slipped off the product during the tensile test of the power cord, and the power connection and external wiring items did not meet the requirements of GB 4706.1-2005. In extreme cases, if the power cord is pulled by a force, it may cause the connection to the controller to be loose and there is a risk of electric shock.
According to the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision, consumers should immediately stop using and turn off the power switch. Shanghai Shengdayuan Information Technology Co., Ltd. will arrange professional and technical personnel to inspect the installation of the product, focusing on checking whether the connection between the external wiring and the controller connection is firm, if there is looseness, the tightening operation will be carried out on the spot, and if the controller is damaged, the accessories will be replaced free of charge.

According to the notice, the company will also recall the "Jiabai" smart clothes dryer with the model J-LYJ302HS-W produced between May 1, 2021 and September 6, 2021, involving 14 units.
The reason for the recall is that the protection items that touch the live parts do not meet the requirements of GB 4706.1-2005. There is a risk of electric shock if the finger passes through a gap in the main panel during product installation or routine maintenance and comes into contact with the internal fan.
The Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision reminds consumers to stop using it immediately and turn off the power switch. At the same time, Shanghai Shengdayuan Information Technology Co., Ltd. will arrange professional and technical personnel to visit the site to repair the product and add insulation protection measures for the position of the fan wire that may be touched.
