In the newly released February sales data of China Automobile, Tesla showed the strength of phenomenal new energy vehicle products with a wholesale sales volume of 56,515 vehicles. At the same time, Tesla with 33,315 units, an increase of 339% year-on-year export delivery figures, for China's new energy vehicles in the international arena to expand the results. It is reported that this is the sixth consecutive month that Tesla has stood on the 50,000 monthly sales level.

Cui Dongshu, secretary general of the Association, said that due to the positioning of the Shanghai Gigafactory as Tesla's main automobile export center, the world competitiveness of China's new energy vehicles has been further enhanced.
As China's first wholly foreign-owned vehicle manufacturer, the localization rate of Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory parts has reached more than 90%. The Lingang New Area, where the super factory is located, has built a "safe, autonomous and controllable" industrial ecology covering the whole ecological field of new energy vehicles such as automobile chips, automatic driving systems, automotive interiors, body, new materials, and precision machining, becoming the first 100 billion-level industry. It is estimated that by 2025, the scale of the intelligent new energy automobile industry in the new area will exceed 300 billion yuan, becoming a cluster of intelligent new energy automobile industry with global influence. In suzhou, Ningbo, Nantong and other Yangtze River Delta "free mail areas", Tesla's "4-hour circle of friends" has been formed, and many auto parts companies have formed large-scale industrial clusters, injecting new vitality into the rapid development of the local economy. In addition, 99% of the talents in the whole industry chain trained by Tesla, from front-line operators to service system personnel, to cutting-edge technical talents, and even new energy industry managers, are Chinese.
