Art Sea Pearls: Marie Dubois, the unforgettable tiger girl in the French film "Tiger's Mouth"

Born on January 12, 1937 in Paris, France, the French actress Marie Dubois, also known as Claudine Huez, was a very famous film star in France, winning the César Award, the highest award in the French film industry, in 1978. She is well known to Chinese audiences only because of the introduction of the movie "Tiger's Mouth" in Chinese mainland. Throughout the film, Marie Dubwa is the heroine of the game. Chinese filmgoers in the 1980s did not seem to have focused on improving their appreciation of films. In addition to laughing, they remembered the amazing beauty of Marie Dubois. Marie Dubois graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Dramatics and starred in her debut film, Leo Constellation, in 1959. In his lifetime, he has starred in dozens of films such as "The Gunshot Pianist", "Women Are Women", "Jules and Jim", "The Long Day of Blue Blood", "Tiger's Mouth", "The Great Thief of Paris", "The Midlife Crisis of the Three Brothers", "My American Uncle", "The Last Season", "The Impermanence of the River" and so on. Marie Dubois married French actor Serge Rousseau in 1961, and in 2007 Serge Rousseau died of illness. The Marie Dubois have a daughter who grew up to be a film actress.

Among the films starring Mary Dubois, only one of the films "Tiger's Mouth" was introduced to China, so Mary Dubois is not known to more Chinese audiences. But for Marie Dubois, a "Tiger's Mouth Escape" has made her a favorite tiger girl for Chinese moviegoers. Chinese in the 1980s may not have known Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and others, but they all remembered the blonde and blue-eyed beautiful woman in "Tiger's Mouth". To be honest, after watching "Tiger's Mouth" so many times, I have always been grumpy about the director's arrangement of Juliet's emotional drama with the painter. The obviously very old, somewhat ugly-looking painter flirting with Juliet makes me feel bad every time I watch it. This knot did not slowly open until many years later, recognizing the argument that art comes from life and is higher than life.

On October 15, 2014, Marie Dubois died of multiple sclerosis in Lescar, France, at the age of 78.
