Straight up to the cloud foothills of three thousand zhang, to see Changsha millions of homes. When we enter this ancient academy, the sound of Lang Lang books from thousands of years reverberates faintly like Sanskrit sounds, and the state of mind that is stained with some dust makes us feel at peace and awe. We know deeply that if it were not for the generosity and tolerance of our alma mater, Huda University, if it were not for the wisdom and profound knowledge of Professor Zhao Yuping, if it were not for the gratitude of a devout student like you and me, this sacred academy would only be a place for the world to worship, how could we have the honor to emulate the ancient sages and sages here to listen to the master's lectures? Luckily, very lucky!
Let us travel through the thousand years of wind and rain and look back at the wonderful moments of this temple that can affect the history of Chinese culture.
In September 1167, Zhu Xi, a famous theologian and educator of the Southern Song Dynasty, and Zhang Yu, the great Confucian, gave the famous "Zhu Zhang Hui Lecture" here, which was the first academic exchange and integration of Yuelu Academy. After that, figures from various schools of thought flocked to spread the academic ideas of various schools. A hundred schools of thought contend, the humanities are rising, and the inclusiveness of Huxiang culture has achieved the Huxiang wind and current of "only Chu has materials, Yusi is prosperous".
The Xiang scholar style of Yuelu Academy is expressed in the way of thinking as "seeking truth from facts", which coincides with another great man hundreds of years later. In June 1918, Mao Zedong, who had just graduated from the First Division, lived with Cai Hesen and others in Yuelu Academy, practicing the dream of building a "Yuelu New Village" together. In the depths of the long history, the young Mao Zedong's sad and agitated call warned us that history is not fate, it depends on our will and struggle to transform the world, transform ourselves and create history.
On July 11, 1999, after the first time in the "Millennium Garden", Mr. Yu Qiuyu walked into this mountain courtyard again and talked about "Chinese Literati Towards the Twenty-first Century", proposing that Chinese culture will appear around 2020 to break through the situation of breaking the silence of all things, breaking through the metaphysics and reviving on a large scale.
On January 1, 2000, Zhang Chaoyang, the founder of Sohu, China's first Internet company established with venture capital funds, also stood here and discussed "Heroes of Success or Failure".
From culture to economy, from literati to heroes, isn't this exactly the embodiment and reflection of Yuelu Academy's "preaching to help the people and applying it to the world" and the Huxiang wind bone? This wind bone has flourished over thousands of years.
So far, I have been associated with Huda for six years, which is the honor and unremitting pursuit of my life. In the School of Business Administration, from EDP to EMBA to Post-E, we see more and more clearly that the mission of the School of Business Administration to "take root in the excellent business school with local reputation and worldwide reputation" and Huda University's adherence to the original intention of "seeking truth from facts and daring to be the first" are really the continuation and Everbright of "erudition, interrogation, prudent thinking, discernment, and dedication" advocated by the sage Zhu Zi.
At this moment, standing at the Yuelu Academy, a thousand-year-old academy, my mood could not be calm for a long time.
Just when we were exploring our self-breakthrough, Professor Zhao Yuping of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, a top expert in Traditional Chinese Studies, the main speaker of "Hundred Forums", a doctoral supervisor, and a professor of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, personally visited the Millennium University to make "Chinese Traditional Culture and Leadership Art" as the first class of Hunan University's EDP Entrepreneur Humanistic Literacy Class, and to speculate on the leadership wisdom behind history. Here, on behalf of the students, please allow me to extend a warm welcome and sincere thanks to Professor Zhao with a deep bow, thank you for traveling thousands of miles to Huxiang to preach and teach karma.
In this situation, although the teacher is not an Eguan Bo belt, a lupine scarf; although my generation is not bathed in incense, sitting on the ground. However, this sense of studious thinking is integrated with ancient and modern times, and the sound of bells and drums echoes through time and space. Sven is like this, elegant is like this, the heart is longing for it, and the affection is pleasant.
Dear students, the heart is worried about the world, the literature is to transform people, the journey of the avenue, the style of Xiangshang. Forge the context of Yuelu and forge a team of entrepreneurs, we will move forward side by side and shoulder the responsibility together!
