Dead Space: Remake was announced at EA Play Live last year, and the remake will be reworked from scratch using the Frostbite engine. In addition to improving the visuals, the game will also take advantage of the high-speed SSDs on the XSX/XSS and PS5 to eliminate the read interface. The game also supports 3D sound effects. At a recent developer live conference, Motive showed us the changes to the classic dismemberment system.
Each weapon will have a different effect on Necromorph, and the entire Zero Gravity Motion system has been redone to make it similar to the system in Dead Space 2, and new environments and challenges have been added to the game.
Deadspace Remake will be available on XSX/XSS, PS5 and PC, and while the game hasn't yet announced a release date, there are rumors that it could be released this fall.
