The list of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Management and Pharmacotherapeutics Committee of the National Health Commission was announced

In order to further strengthen the pharmaceutical affairs management of medical institutions, promote rational drug use, and play the role of expert technical support, our committee decided to establish the Pharmaceutical Affairs Management and Pharmacotherapeutics Committee of the National Health Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Committee). The committee's list is hereby circulated to you for your support in the relevant work.

The main responsibilities of the committee include: studying the development status of pharmaceutical affairs management in mainland medical institutions and proposing policy recommendations; providing technical support around the establishment and improvement of the drug selection, procurement, use, evaluation and other systems for medical institutions; promoting the implementation of clinical diagnosis and treatment guidelines and guidelines for clinical application of drugs related to drug treatment; promoting the establishment and improvement of the mainland pharmaceutical service system, strengthening the construction of the pharmacist team, standardizing and developing pharmaceutical services; investigating and handling major mass drug harm incidents; and undertaking other tasks assigned by the National Health Commission.

The office of the Committee is located in the Medical Administration Bureau of the National Health Commission and is responsible for daily work. The term of office of the members of the Committee shall be 3 years from the date of this notification.
