"I wanted to play until I was old, but reality didn't allow it. I can only be grateful for all the years I have been able to play football, to all my teammates, staff and fans at The Amsterdam Arena, the Bank of the North Arena (Home of Hamburg), White Hart Lane and the Bernabeu. ”
"Those people and things made me feel incredibly warm, it was a wonderful time. I won awards and participated in competitions with my club, the Dutch team. I've also won a number of individual awards. ”
"In those years, I was fortunate to be able to play alongside a lot of top players and compete in the most beautiful stadiums. When I was young, I couldn't dream of it. ”
