Lab Introduction

The Intelligent Big Data Visualization Lab (iDVx Lab) of Tongji University is a scientific research and innovation laboratory in Tongji University that spans the "School of Design and Creativity" and the "School of Software", and is also affiliated to the "Frontier Science Center of Autonomous Intelligent Unmanned Systems of the Ministry of Education", with intelligent media communication design and data visualization as the main research direction. Salary package

Postdoctoral fellows enjoy a basic annual salary of 300,000 yuan and enjoy the basic welfare benefits of tongji university faculty and staff. Scientific research team

The laboratory has a strong teaching and research team, and three teachers who have returned from overseas participate in the guidance of doctoral and master students. Research Results

In the past three years, the laboratory has presided over 6 National Natural Science Foundation of China and a number of provincial and municipal scientific research funds in the fields of data visualization and artificial intelligence, published more than 70 papers of high-level international conferences and journals (including IEEE VIS, AAAI, ACM KDD, ACM CHI), applied for nearly 10 patents, and won 2 best paper awards and 4 best paper nomination awards. The scientific research achievements of the laboratory have been landed in the relevant products and services of Tencent, Alibaba, Huawei and many other enterprises, and have received nearly 10 million yuan of scientific research grants from enterprises, universities and all sectors of society. At the same time, it has also created a series of intelligent products and services with independent intellectual property rights (refer to related reports: new progress has been made in the research of intelligent visual narrative in the iDVX laboratory).

Facilities

The laboratory has a complete set of advanced scientific research equipment, including more than 20 high-performance iMac computers, and 5 large-capacity GPU deep learning and big data server clusters, from front-end graphics rendering to artificial intelligence computing, providing comprehensive hardware support for scientific research.

Based on the National Natural Science Foundation of China (international cooperation project), the laboratory has established a long-term cooperative study visit program with the University of Stuttgart in Germany, North Carolina State University in the United States, UIUC, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and other world-class universities, and comprehensively subsidizes doctoral students to study abroad.
