8 group overhaul and renovation is a highly systematic comprehensive project, involving vehicles, power supply, signaling, communications, integrated monitoring, platform doors and many other majors. Previously, Line 3 has achieved the integration and successful operation of the 8-group monorail system for the first time in the world, and the completion of the overhaul and renovation of the 8-group of Line 2 marks the re-fruiting of the 8-group technology of Chongqing Rail Transit.
The overhaul of Line 2 8 group covers a total of 19 stations from Paradise Fort to Bichangkou, and it is planned that 2 8-group trains will be unloaded and commissioned for 20 days. During this period, when the 8-group train stops, the station opens and closes the platform door normally, but the train does not carry passengers. After the end of the no-load commissioning, the planned 8-group train will carry passengers for trial operation in the section of Line 2 from Fort Paradise to The Junction. Compared with the 6-group trains, the 8-group train will increase the passenger capacity by 460 people, which will further increase the capacity of Line 2 and enhance the travel experience of citizens and passengers.
Tips
During the no-load commissioning of the 8-group train, please follow the guidance of the station staff, and the passengers of the Paradise Fort ~ Fish Cave section should queue up in front of the gate of platform 1 to 12.
