More Runaway Player movies are already in the company's future plans, and we're going to be very busy for the next few days.
Prior to this, Runaway Player director Sean Levy had already expressed some ideas about the sequel, one of which was to have the protagonist travel back and forth in today's popular game world. He also hopes to see the protagonist in Minecraft and Call of Duty games.
Runaway Player is a sci-fi action comedy film directed by Sean Levy starring Ryan Reynolds, Judy Comer, Joe Kiri, And Taiga Vidity, and others, released on Chinese mainland on August 27. The film tells the story of an ordinary bank teller who discovers that he is actually the background character of a large video game, exposes the conspiracy of the game manufacturer's boss, and saves the game world in which he lives.
The film grossed $330 million in 2021 and received more positive reviews. The subsequent launch of a series of new works is actually reasonable.
