It doesn't look good, which is a good thing
It weighs 252 grams, which is like pineapple and durian seasoning in the new pizza, which is regarded by people who hate it as a thorn in the flesh in the eye, and those who love it can be unconditionally tolerated.
It is so heavy, Lenovo's heart is like a mirror, most users will not choose to use it as the main machine, and they do not want to compete with other machines that are mainly light and thin.
Y90 is very aware of its own positioning, so it is better to make good use of its own "magnitude advantage" to fully pull the hardware specifications.
The back panel of the Y90 is very different from other mobile phones, almost all the components are placed in the center of the fuselage, quite a mid-engine flavor, but this is not to achieve a 50:50 counterweight ratio, but to facilitate the body horizontal screen holding, the heat source as far away from the hands as possible.

In nearly an hour of testing, the Y90 can be described as "standing still". In the test, I set the game screen to the most common "smooth + 90fps" mode to play, a total of 47 minutes, opened two rounds of island charts, the screen did not appear to drop frames or stutter, reflected in the chart, the number of frames was maintained almost the whole time, never a big fluctuation.
The frame drop that appears in the middle is caused by returning to the main interface to open the next round. During the process, the temperature of the CPU was maintained between 41-44°C, because the heat was concentrated in the middle of the backplane, and I did not have a clear perception of the heating up of the phone during the game.
Seeing that the frame rate was so stable, I felt that there was no need to waste any more time in Peace Elite, so after two games, I opened another game, "Original God", and whether the Y90, which had just finished fighting, could withstand the test of the "running score game".
Since the previous game didn't seem to pose much of a threat to the Y90, I directly pulled the game quality of Original God to the highest, choosing a frame rate of 60fps.
After 23 minutes of play, the whole process is not perfect, in the city of Mond and in the wild, the frame rate will briefly drop to around 42fps, and the rest of the process is basically maintained at 60fps level. It is worth noting that every 4 or 5 minutes in the process, in order to control the body temperature, the frame rate will drop to 50fps, and the CPU occupancy rate will rise at this time, about 1 minute and then return to the full frame level, and the cycle repeats.
In this extreme picture quality situation, the average frame rate of the game is 56fps, there are fluctuations, but the amplitude is not large, as long as the animation is slightly down-adjusted, you can get a more stable game screen. At the highest quality, the game resolution is 1845x810, the average power is 9W, and the maximum core temperature is not more than 53°C.
Later, I also played "Glory of Kings", and the result was similar to "Peace Elite", with a 120fps frame rate peak and few ups and downs.
Three games were measured in a row, took two hours, the power dropped from 96% to 45%, the fan did not stop, the maximum temperature of the fuselage was in the center area of the screen, and the value measured with the temperature gun was 41.5 °C, and the indoor ambient temperature I was in was 22 °C.

In fact, Y90 is almost interesting, the system it uses is based on the ZUI 13 developed by Android 12, which has made great progress in terms of aesthetics and ease of use, at least in addition to thickness, I usually regard it as the main machine to use, there is no problem.
However, the image scene that mobile phone users often encounter, it is basically abandoned.
