OtherSide Entertainment today announced that the studio is working on a new game led by Warren Spector.
The title will be "an immersive simulation game based on a new IP developed by OtherSide", and the main visual image has also been made public.
Warren Spector said he is excited to work with a talented team to develop a new IP game that will have an immersive world and an engaging narrative that will be directly influenced by player choices and gameplay styles. The game is still in the early stages of development and will share more news in the future.
At the same time, the studio also announced that Jeff Goodsill, a strategic consultant who had previously joined the company, will become the studio manager, leading the growth of the studio and overseeing the development of next-generation console and PC games, including warren Spector's new games. Jeff Goodsill previously led the development of the Titan Journey series at THQ and grew Tencent Boston Studio from scratch to a team of nearly 100 people.
OtherSide Entertainment was founded by paul Neurath, former looking Glass Studios studio owner and creator of genesis: Dungeons.
The studio has been working on Cyber Raider 3, also led by Warren Spector, since 2015, but has encountered difficulties due to the bankruptcy of publisher Starbreeze Studios. The project was announced in May 2020 that Tencent would take over and lead the future development of Cyber Raiders 3.
