French media: In gratitude for hosting the World Cup and the acquisition of Greater Paris, The Emir transferred 15 million euros to Sarkozy

According to French media blast, in order to thank the hosting of the World Cup and the acquisition of Paris Club, Emir once transferred 15 million euros to Sarkozy.

On November 23, 2010, the Elysee Palace hosted a luncheon attended by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, UEFA President Platini, then Crown Prince of Qatar and now Emir Al-Thani.

QSI, the Qatar sovereign wealth fund behind Paris Saint-Germain, has issued a letter signed by Paris President Nasser, which mentions that according to the instructions of Qatar's current emir, 15 million euros were transferred to then French President Sarkozy as a thank you for Qatar's support in obtaining the right to host the 2022 World Cup and the acquisition of Paris Saint-Germain Club.

In addition, the matter involved two other French guests at the dinner, namely Gaion, then Secretary-General of the French President and Minister of the Interior, and UEFA President Platini. The letter mentions that Gaion also received a commission of 2 million euros, and Platini also received a commission of 2 million euros, although Gai'ang himself has always denied attending the luncheon and receiving those commissions.
