He is currently working in Changzhou Information Vocational and Technical College. Since modern times, Western culture and Western paintings accompanied by strong ships and cannons have become an objective existence that cannot be ignored, how can it be ignored? The attitude towards Chinese and Western painting, it is not appropriate to look at or even replace Chinese painting according to the standards of Western painting, the result is not the development of Chinese painting, but the demise, on the contrary, it is too conservative or even rigid to seek a new way out in the category of Chinese painting, at least, the existence of Western painting is also a reference and comparison for the development of Chinese painting.

It follows from this that the attitude of "eclecticism" is appropriate. The key is how to develop Chinese painting in "eclecticism", before, Lin Fengmian focused on the art form of Western painting, Xu Beihong focused on the realistic techniques of Western painting, Pan Tianshou focused on Western painting as a reference and comparison, Liu Haisu's characteristics are "spiritual fit, no traces", this method absorbs the elements of Western painting under the premise of ensuring the spirit of Chinese painting, and develops Chinese painting while ensuring the essence of Chinese painting, and its academic value needs to be well studied and practiced.
My creation is a little attempt at Liu Haisu's academic proposition of "spiritual fit and no traces", and I ask fang jia to criticize and correct it.

Creative Inspiration:
1. Mr. Kong Liuqing said: Painting is the expression of the aesthetic form of the soul's appeal. My understanding of painting is that painting is the visualization of culture on paper.
2. Mr. Wu Guanzhong said: The style is the back of the painter, and the painter can never see it. My understanding of the style is that the uniqueness of the painting style is essentially the thoroughness of the painter's self-knowledge. The more clearly you can recognize yourself, the stronger the uniqueness of the painting style.
3. The uniqueness of the painting style is an important feature of a painter to distinguish other painters, and the painting style is mostly formed naturally, and few are obtained due to pursuit. "Schema" is just an external form of a painter's painting style, and there is no need to deliberately pursue it. The ideal state is to constantly recognize the self, so as to form their own painting style, and naturally have a "schema". The "schema" of the external form cannot be equated with the painting style to pursue.

4. My favorite painters are Liang Kai and Hongren. After watching the works of the two people, they have a feeling in their hearts: not cumbersome, not long-winded, and calmly display their own mentality. The two also have a disagreement: Liang Kai is more dashing and daguan, and Hongren is more clear and clean. Perhaps, the two ancestors never regarded themselves as painters, and painting was just a way of expressing affection and sending affection. Because of this, the work of the two gives people the feeling of lightness, rather than endless and emotionless use of technique to portray details.
