The domestic version of The Mustang Mach-E continues the design of the overseas version of the model in appearance, its body line is very smooth, and the sneakback body looks young. The front and rear arches are rounded and full of American muscle. In addition, under the front of the car, there is a grille that can be opened automatically, the main purpose is to dissipate heat from the battery.
It is worth mentioning that the new car has a hidden storage box under the front cabin cover, which can bring 136 liters of volume, while adding a drainage design, it is very easy to carry large items or refrigerated food when going out to parties.
The side of the new car eliminated the traditional door handle design, replaced by a four-button switch, after which the door will pop at a certain angle, and the car uses a mechanical handle. In addition, the C-pillar part was specially designed, and the two-color coating created a visual difference, which not only created a sneaky back effect, but also improved the head space in the rear of the car.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4739/1881/1621mm, and a wheelbase of 2984mm.
The rear part adopts a classic three-light design, and the styling is slightly different from the fuel version of the model, which is that the rear tail lights make an arrow feather style to increase the sense of width. At the same time, the American version of the tail turn signal is still a dynamic flowing water design, which is very emotional after lighting. In addition, the new car features a hatchback door design that provides 821 litres of volume in standard condition and 1677 litres when the rear exhaust is reversed.
Inside, the new car adopts a new design direction, which can be described as full of technology. The combination of 10.2-inch full LCD dashboard + 15.5-inch touch screen, the former can display driving-related information, including speed, mileage, driving mode and other information; while the 15.5-inch central control touch screen in addition to the size is large enough, the display is also satisfactory, and integrates a new generation of SYNC infotainment system with cloud navigation function, and supports OTA upgrades; at the same time, the physical home button is set under the screen, blind operation is very convenient.
The long-endurance four-wheel drive version of the power system has a maximum power of 260kW, a peak torque of 565N·m, an acceleration time of 0-96km/h in 5 seconds, and a CLTC national standard cruising range of 540km.
