After the winter of 2020, because the community is a abandoned pipe community, the road surface is potholed, the snow road is slippery, and the elderly are easy to slip. After learning that the sanitation workers had pulled some rubble and asphalt slag around the neighborhood to pave the way for the community, he and the sanitation workers got up early to pave the road surface of the community.
Liu Shuo actively participates in social welfare activities and regards helping others as an important part of his life. At 4:50 p.m. on April 11, 2020, a message appeared in the WeChat group: Sui Liming, a village doctor in Yitong, was suffering from leukemia and was in urgent need of platelets. After comparing the rescue information, Liu Shuo found that he met all the basic conditions for rescue. He immediately contacted the patient's family. After learning that Sui Liming was suffering from leukemia, he still stuck to the front line of the fight against the epidemic, Liu Shuoton was full of admiration and immediately told his family to agree to donate platelets for him. He pushed aside the work at hand and accompanied Sui Liming's family to donate blood from Yitong to siping blood station. On April 29, Liu Shuo donated two units of platelets for the first time, and after donating blood, his family wanted to give him some nutrition fees to express their gratitude, but he refused. Due to the large amount of blood used by the patient, Liu Shuo contacted other volunteers to prepare for Sui Liming's long-term rescue, and then in June and July he donated four units of platelets twice until Sui Liming died on July 27.
Later, Liu Shuo learned from the Siping Public Welfare Group that Chen Xue, who suffered from leukemia, was in urgent need of help. The 28-year-old girl, who has been ill since 2013, has spent all her savings with her mother, and when she is in urgent need of platelets, Liu Shuo lends a helping hand. On August 16, 2020, two units of platelets were donated to Chen Xue. A month later, when he learned that Chen Xue was suddenly hospitalized again, he came to Siping again to donate blood. On November 29, Liu Shuo donated two units of platelets for the third time, once again helping the girl who was tormented by illness.
