The inspiration for this topic actually came from the fact that there are many magpies in our school, which can be seen as soon as you look up. You may say that your topic is too casual. So, is it an attitude issue or a competency issue?
I'll start with a little episode, the other day I went to experience my girlfriend's newly purchased luxury massage chair, and I was lying there with my teeth cracked and massaging, while thinking about today's speech. My girlfriend said, "Why is your expression so painful?" Is it too strong, I will adjust it for you. I said, "No, because I'm thinking about things." She said, "What are you thinking?" Make you so upset. "I said I was preparing a speech called LookIng Up and Seeing Joy, and I wrote a beginning, and I was anxious. She said, "You know what? When I was in school in Chinese opera, we had a lot of magpies in our school, and if I were to write, I would write that I would look up and see the joy, and I could see the magpies when I looked up. "I was so surprised that I thought how happy it would be if our spouse could have such a tacit soul.
So, through the above episode, I would like to say that I am not alone in terms of the lack of imagination.
Many of our friends here today are meeting for the first time, in fact, many people who meet for the first time will ask me a question, "Teacher Liu, what classes do you teach in school?" "This topic is well found, and my answer will definitely make the conversation interactive." I would tell him that I had taught directing, playwriting, editing, acting, audiovisual language, and professional creation. At this time, the other party will sincerely praise and say, Teacher Liu, you are really too comprehensive. Or you may be tempted to ask, "Teacher Liu, are you the only one in your school?" "They have a deep understanding, and when they look at the class schedule, it is me again. So, others are looking up and seeing joy, and my students are looking up at you again.
The first time I actually knew the word "look up and see joy" was when I was a child, during the Spring Festival, when I was wandering around in the hutongs, going door to door to investigate how the outdoor atmosphere of their festivals was created, so I saw this word on the lintel of a family. You know, for a preschooler who didn't know much about a word at that time, in the process of her investigation, when she looked up and could recognize a word she had read continuously, this moment was very proud, so this picture has always been in my memory.
Looking up and seeing joy is a good wish and expectation. What is Hi? It could be a happy thing, it could be good luck. If you look up and see joy, will you surely rejoice from heaven? I'm not sure about their causality, I can only be sure it's an idiom solitaire. Look up and see the joy, where does the joy come from?
The sculptor Rodin once said that it is often quoted by primary and secondary school students as a tongue twister in their compositions. That's what he said. There is no lack of beauty in the world, but a lack of eyes to discover beauty. For our eyes, it is not the lack of beauty, but the lack of discovery. Everyone has heard this sentence, right? Well, visible discovery is an ability. In my understanding, the joy of looking up and seeing joy also comes from discovery, looking up to see joy, and rejoicing because of seeing. Looking up and seeing joy is not only the expectation of life, but also the attitude of living a life.
If discovery is an ability, can it be learned?
When I was in college, I majored in directing. The first professional course we were exposed to at that time was acting.
Of course, my learning and experience of acting cannot be compared with our teachers. But when we were in acting class, we had a training called the Observation Life Exercise, which we continued for a semester. Because before going to college, we are all middle school students who are two points and one line in the home school, and we don't hear things outside the window, so we especially need to open our horizons through the practice of observing life training, to pay attention to others of different ages, identities, occupations, and different environments, and to complete the observation, understanding, experience, imitation and shaping of the characters.
For me at that time, I was really thinking about how hard I should try to do my performance homework well, and how I would prove that I had this professional ability. As for other experiences and reflections, there really are none. And in fact, now that I think about it, our performances at that time were still very superficial. However, with the study of various professional courses that followed, especially after I entered the field of teaching and creation, I really found that observing life and observing people was too important, too important. Because it is not only suitable for acting classes, in fact, whether it is the play link, or the shooting stage, or the editing work, we are building the relationship between the characters and the characters, and we are all pursuing emotional truth and detail realism. Therefore, observing life was initially my learning need, and then it became my professional instinct, and I still maintain the habit of observing life.
As I grew older, in the process of observation, I had more associations, perceptions and reflections, and found a lot of beauty and fun in trivial life. Here I would like to share with you a few scenes of life on the bus as a prescribed situation.
Well, first one. Do you take the bus in the morning? You all take a taxi, right? Very rich. The morning bus actually has a very major group in addition to the people who go to work, do you know what it is? In fact, uncles and aunts, they will not get up so early, they will travel at the wrong peak. It is about nine o'clock to ten o'clock, uncles and aunts come out, you will listen to the bus card is a drop old age card, a drop old age card, you think the driver this trip is white. But in fact, in addition to the people who go to work at the earliest in the morning, there is also a very important group, that is, students and parents who send them. It seems that we have a particularly large number of young people here today, because you don't send children. I met such a mother on the bus, she loudly led her son to memorize the text, the content of this text is to tell the hero Huang Jiguang's battle story, in the process of the child's back, also consulted his mother about the difference between the bunker and the turret. Well, it was finally a stumbling back. His mother said, I'll read it to you again. So we all looked at me, I looked at you, and everyone consciously received patriotic education twice.
Well, again, it's still a parent-child theme. This time while waiting for the car to leave, I thought this mother might also be very bored, so I seized the time to ask her son questions. Say "You're 6 years older than your brother, how old was your brother when you were 30?" The son thought for a moment and said, "24." His mother said, "How do you count?" The son said, "I added it." Mom said, "Why don't you use 30 minus 6?" You are 8 years old, your grandmother is 60 years old, when your grandmother is 70 years old, how old are you? Quick answers. The son quickly replied "17." Well, the last one, the theme remains the same, or the parent-child theme, but the relationship between the characters changes slightly. Also on the bus, once I saw a dad with a five- or six-year-old daughter on the bus, and a passenger gave way to the little girl, and her dad said, "Thank you, sit down, she's grown up." It was this sentence that caught my attention, and then I couldn't always stare at people. However, then this dad said another sentence that caught my attention again. What did he say? He said, "When you weren't born, Mom and Dad went to eat it. "I was thinking about something, and then I turned back to look at them. At this time, the father and daughter are looking out the car window together, and the father is particularly patient and serious in answering his daughter's various questions, even whether you will live in a dormitory or go home after you go to college. So I guessed that this little girl must have been pointing to a restaurant and asking her father what it was? Dad replied above.
At that time, I thought, if it is written into the script, really, what a good line, what a wealth of information it contains, past, present, love, marriage. I think that our audience here today may be particularly young, and you may not be able to experience this feeling, but I think that married and childbearing friends, you understand, and single friends in love, you can experience it as appropriate.
I found that the examples I just shared were all educational, and may really be related to my profession. In fact, I don't know if the children in these situations will remember this insignificant moment in their childhood when they grow up, but I really appreciate these life moments that make me smile. When you are in a steaming life, your heart is warm, your heart is warm, and your mood is good.
Another time, also on the bus, an old man next to me was humming "Our Fields." Did you sing it when you were a kid? At that time, I thought it was very beautiful, and it was also because it was a nursery rhyme when I was a child. I sent a Weibo, and I said that the uncle next to me was humming "Our Field", which was really beautiful. Some netizens left me a message saying that it is because you are in a good mood that you will feel that this matter is very beautiful. But it's really not like this, and I think it's exactly the opposite of this causal relationship. So I think that a good mood really does not necessarily depend on the title of the gold list, promotion and salary increase, financial resources rolling in, all the best for the New Year, these obvious big things, it is just a small joy that touches the softness of our hearts.
In fact, for me, there are two small joys today, because the first is that I stand on the stage of the drama. When I was in college, I was admitted to the Beijing Broadcasting Academy, but in fact, at that time, I also wanted to enter the Central Academy of Drama, but I felt that I seemed to have even less confidence in the examination of Chinese drama. My father said that he said that there are few people watching drama, everyone watches TV, and you will find a job in the future. However, my dad must not have thought that not many people watch TV now. So now that I can stand in a drama scene like this and speak, I feel like a dream come true for me. The second happy place, I can finally say what I wrote to myself. What does this mean? Because in the first ten years, I mainly wrote for various large-scale film festivals, such as the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, the Huabiao Award, the Beijing International Film Festival, the University Student Film Festival, the Silk Road International Film Festival, the Hainan Island International Film Festival, etc. The words spoken by the host and actors were all written by me.
