Liverpool boss Jurgen Kolop made an important statement on the Carabao Cup final

Jurgen Klopp also spoke about keeping Kelleher at Liverpool for years to come. Considering that Alisson remains the undisputed lead goalkeeper, this is likely to be the second option.
“It’s just a thing we have to do because of the quality Caoimh has. We want to keep him as long as possible, knowing that, from our point of view, the best goalkeeper in the world (Alisson) is our number one. As always, if it works out, then it’s all about Caoimh. If it doesn’t work out, then it’s all about me. It’s as easy as that, and I take it.”
Kelleher joined Liverpool in the summer of 2015. He has progressed in the youth team and was promoted to the first team ahead of the 2019-20 season. So far, he has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Reds, with seven without conceding a goal.
