After coming out of the police station, he tightened his clothes and his face was very gloomy. No one knows his identity — he is a former bandit, a villain who has now been recruited by the Kuomintang reactionaries, and a sinner with a heavy blood debt on his hands, Wang Ermei.
Next, the most important thing is to hide your identity. He believed that with his own means, he would be able to bury the blood debts committed in the past in history.
Can Wang Ermei really hide among the masses of the people and escape the punishment of the law as she wishes? What would he do?
Accumulated blood debts, a family of soldiers and bandits

And Zhangjiakou's famous bandit leader Wang Ermei, who is known as a giant bandit, is the second kind of bandit. In 1927, Wang Ermei and her brother Wang Damei gathered a team of bandits in Beishan, Wei County, and then they operated in Hebei and Shanxi, robbing, killing, kidnapping tickets, and even bullying men and women.
But at that time, Wang Ermei was still just a green "hairy little bandit", although fierce, he still bowed down and made small under the threat of his brother Wang Damei. But the opportunity soon came - in 1932, Wang Damei was killed by the Kuomintang 29th Army in a robbery, and as Wang Damei's younger brother, Wang Ermei naturally inherited his brother's bandit team and became the new bandit leader.
After becoming a bandit leader, Wang Ermei, who was eager to stabilize people's hearts and establish his majesty, committed a bloody debt - it is difficult to read. He kidnapped many people to demand ransom, and took advantage of the fear and anxiety of the kidnapped relatives to open his mouth widely, and even demanded 10,000 oceans.
If Wang Ermei did not receive the ransom, he would use various punishments to torture them and force them to make a decision, until they agreed to give money.
For example, in 1934, Wang Ermei kidnapped Xiabuzhuang and Caocun in Yang County, kidnapping a total of seven people and demanding a thousand oceans each. If you don't pay for it, hang them upside down and beat them with a whip dipped in salt water. If you faint, hang until you wake up and continue until you are willing to pay the money.
He even cut off the victims' ears and sent them to their loved ones, forcing them to collect money as soon as possible. After selling a large amount of land, food, belongings, and even clothing, the victim's relatives were able to scrape together 1800 oceans to redeem the people.
But unlike her brother Wang Damei, Wang Ermei has a longer-term plan in her heart. He knew that bandits could not be long-lived, that the people hated them to the bone, and that the government did not like them. If he wants to live longer and live better, he needs a brighter identity.
But after all, he was difficult to change, and the thought of being absorbed would lose his freedom, the matter has been delayed. It was not until 1937 that Wang Ermei surrendered after being captured alive by the Kuomintang during the robbery and was appointed as the commander of the headquarters brigade and the commander of the cavalry battalion.

He repeatedly arrested our party's underground workers to interrogate them for intelligence, and then brutally killed them. In two years, Wang Ermei killed more than forty party cadres and militia members, which can be said to be stained with the blood of evil on his hands.
On July 21, 1948, Wang Ermei led a team to arrest Comrade Cao Zhiming and asked about the contact situation of our party. Comrade Cao Zhiming saw that the situation was not good, so he put the letter in his mouth and ate it, in order to keep the secret. The king was so angry that he realized that the merits he had received flew away, so he hung Comrade Cao Zhiming on a tree and beat him fiercely, and then stabbed him to death with a bayonet.

Absconded from his post and disguised himself in many ways
By November 1948, the domestic battlefield was nearing its end, and the Kuomintang reactionaries were in full swing. Everyone knows that the Kuomintang building will fall, and Wang Ermei is no exception. What's more, as a bandit, he knows our party's zero-tolerance policy toward bandits, and he is a brutal bandit with countless lives on his hands, and he absolutely cannot escape the people's judgment.
Wang Ermei, who was anxious in his heart, finally made the choice to abandon his post and flee, and he wanted to take advantage of the chaotic moment when the war was not over. Therefore, he fled to Beijing with some gold and silver jewelry in the hope of escaping the people's sanctions.
But Wang Ermei spent a lot of money, and Beijing was very expensive, and soon the money replaced by gold and silver jewelry was spent. Wang Ermei, who had difficulties in life, could only flee back to Zhangjiakou once again, but because of his suspicious whereabouts, he was caught by our party's public security personnel.
But the police apparently underestimated Wang Ermei's cunning—he tried all sorts of reasons to explain his actions, and after a cursory interrogation, Wang Ermei, who was initially safe, fled again, and Wang Ermei fled again, traveling to many places. In the end, he chose to hide in Baotou Chahan Yiligen.
Wang Ermei's choice is very sophisticated, perhaps because his perennial career as a bandit has strengthened his vigilance, or perhaps it is the rush during this time that has exhausted him, chahan Iligen is a place where there is no village in front and no shop behind, and only passing tourists will pass by.
In this way, Wang Ermei lied that the refugees who fled the country had been hidden in Chahan Iligen for half a year. During these six months, he assumed the pseudonym Wang Shuiquan and initially settled down—but the fear in his heart still ate at him.
Chahan Iligen is remote and inconvenient, and Wang Ermei quickly chose another good hiding place - that is, Zhaojiadian Village on the outskirts of Baotou. The Zhao family shop was simple and simple, and under wang Ermei's fabricated life, they quickly accepted him.
But this still did not reassure Wang Ermei, so he needed to further deepen his disguise.
So how exactly did he disguise himself? Wang Ermei's disguise is mainly divided into two parts, one part is to build a good relationship upwards, and the other part is to build a good relationship downward.
The first is to build a good relationship upwards, and Wang Ermei, who once joined the Kuomintang, knows that if he wants to lurk, he needs a leader who supports him. Therefore, when Wang Ermei first came to Zhao Jiadian Village, he chose to use the Zhao Shan family, a cadre in the village.

In this way, Wang Ermei hid for several years. The Qingshan Sub-Bureau sent police officers to conduct a detailed investigation, when Wu Daxun's whistleblower letter in 1961 came into their sight.
After the investigation, the Qingshan Bureau was convinced that Wang Shuiquan, who was wang Ermei's pseudonym, and Wang Jiutian, who was reported by Wu Daxun, were the same person. In order to prevent the innocent from being wronged, the Baotou City Public Security Bureau asked Wu Daxun to go to Zhaojiadian Village for identification on the pretext of seeing a horse sick. After confirming that she was correct, the Qingshan Sub-bureau detained Wang Ermei for further interrogation. Wang Ermei, the bandit leader who had been hidden for fifteen years, was eventually arrested, when he was seventy years old.
After the arrest of Wang Ermei, the public security organs began to interrogate Wang Ermei, but Wang Ermei refused to cooperate - he pretended to be crazy and stupid on the grounds of his age, and did not recognize his real name and place of origin. But in the face of overwhelming evidence, he had no chance of escaping.
On March 17, 1965, the Baotou Municipal Public Security Bureau escorted Wang Ermei back to her hometown for treatment. In the face of the public security in her hometown, Wang Ermei, who knows how much harm she has brought, is terrified of this. He refused to admit guilt, denied everything, and shirked the evidence and facts presented.
Whenever the police officers asked about the specific facts and experience of the crime, Wang Ermei confronted him with a negative attitude, even believing that he was also a landlord and a revolutionary himself, but the fact that he cruelly persecuted the revolutionaries passed.
Just how can paper wrap up the fire? After receiving the news of the arrest of the big bandit Wang Ermei, the people's accusations were unprecedentedly high -- they contributed to Wang Ermei's criminal facts and experience, and in the face of a large amount of evidence, Wang Ermei could only helplessly admit the crime.
After verifying the documents and passing them through, the public security organs will hand over the relevant materials to the court. With the approval of the Supreme People's Court, Wang Ermei, who committed the most heinous crimes, was sentenced to death.
Wang Ermei's heart was full of fear. Fifteen years of hiding, fifteen years of escape, not only did not make him open-minded, but it made him more repulsive to death.
But he knew he had no chance. His hands are stained with the blood of the masses, and it is time, it is time for him to pay for his sins.
On December 4, 1969, at the Yangyuan City Pass, Wang Ermei fell to her knees in a daze. Around him were countless rejoicing people. With the sound of a gunshot, the seventy-year-old bandit leader finally ended his sinful life.
