Adapted from China's first Nobel Prize winner Mo Yan's Red Sorghum Family, Red Sorghum is directed by Zheng Xiaolong and starring Zhou Xun, Zhu Yawen, Huang Xuan, Qin Hailu, Yu Rongguang, Xu Guangyu, Xie Huiqing, Cao Zheng, and Han Tongsheng. The drama tells the story of a modern legendary epic full of vitality written by Jiu'er in the high-density land of Shandong Province in the early 1930s, full of vitality, about love and hate, conquest and conquest.
"Red Sorghum" has premiered on Beijing Satellite TV, Shandong Satellite TV, Zhejiang Satellite TV and Oriental Satellite TV on October 27, 2014 [1], and the drama has won the first place in the annual top ten TV dramas of the National Drama Festival, the huading award for the top 100 TV series, and shortlisted for the China TV Series Feitian Award for Outstanding TV Series.
