Last week, Faraday Future (FF) officially announced that the mass production version of its first model, FF 91, will be officially unveiled on the morning of February 24, Beijing time, which is a historic moment for FF and Jia Yueting, because the bull X that has been "blown" for several years has finally been cashed in.
However, the discrepancy between reality and planning seems to have become FF's corporate culture, even if the official definition of this conference as the debut of the FF 91 mass production version, in fact, this is not the final mass production version of the new car, but the "quasi-production version".
At the press conference, the official said that FF 91 will achieve mass production in the third quarter of this year, and will continue to manufacture and produce more quasi-production vehicles for trials and related certifications in the next few months. As for when to start delivery, the official did not give a clear answer, only hope that the "late procrastination" FF will not consume everyone's patience.
At the same time, FF will also strive to achieve FF 91 production in Chinese factories, and the mass production test drive is scheduled to be unveiled in the domestic exhibition hall in the fourth quarter of this year.
Speaking of the FF 91 quasi-mass production version of the model itself, the new car is not significantly different from the previous concept version, the appearance style is already quite familiar to everyone, and the folio door has been continued, but compared with the sister model Gaohe HiPhi X, the door opening method of the FF 91 is relatively conventional.
The carriage is equipped with 11 screens, which is completely common for the new power electric vehicles, and the rear multimedia entertainment screen size reaches 27 inches, but it seems to seriously affect the front-end vision of the rear passengers.
In terms of size, the length and height of FF 91 are 5250/1602mm, and the wheelbase is 3200mm, which is greater than that of HiPhi X.
The FF 91 adopts the power layout of three motors (front one and rear two), the maximum power is up to 1050Ps, the acceleration time of 0-96km is only 2.39 seconds, and with the blessing of the 130kWh battery pack, the new car NEDC has a battery life of 700km.
Lincoln Z pre-sale starts at 25.5 million
