Cronobacterium is very harmful
According to Abbott's announcement, the milk powder produced at the Michigan plant was contaminated with Cronobacteria, which has led to three cases of Cronobacteria and one case of Salmonella.
Cronobacterium infection is a very serious thing, and it is likely to cause sepsis, meningitis or necrotizing colitis, which are undoubtedly fatal conditions.
