Where you walk, the ancient trees are surrounded, the traffic is strange, and the fresh nature is fresh. There are also ancestral sources above the clouds, the top of the cliffs, the wooden pear, the Lizhuang, the Wuling Mountain... The mountain is made of incense burners and clouds of smoke, like a street market in the sky. The village hidden between the mountains and rivers is a place with both humanities and beauty, and we have carefully prepared a collection of Huizhou villages dotted on the scenic road for everyone, and sincerely invite everyone to walk with us into the Huizhou villages in Xiuning.
Today, the eleventh village we introduce to you is the Huizhou village on the Xin'anyuan Tourist Scenic Road - Zhangyuanli, Hecheng Township.
Zhangyuanli is located in Zhangtian Village, southeast of Hecheng Township, Xiuning County, Huangshan City, known in ancient times as Yanyuan and Shimen, and moved here from Qimen Chiqiao in 1071 (the year of the Northern Song Dynasty). In 1081, he was admitted to the jinshi and was appointed as a waiter. Descendants lived in a group. The area of the village is 6.8 square kilometers, and there are more than 200 villagers. The territory has beautiful scenery, fresh air, and the forest coverage rate of the whole village is more than 95%, which can be described as "eight mountains and one water, half a field, half a road and a village", which is a typical traditional ancient village in China, which has not dispersed after thousands of years.

In the history of the ancient village, the cultural context is flourishing, the section is long, and the talents are born, and 18 jinshi have been born successively (6 people have been admitted to the original nationality, 12 people have been sent to the hometown, including 3 points Hanlin); the ancestral hall "let the wall" house (Taiwu back), which epitomizes the virtues of humility, courtesy and harmony.

The peaks of Zhangyuanli are arched, and two springs pass through the village from east to west, and flying beads splash jade. It has eight scenic spots: Shimen Shengjiao, Wufeng Broken Queen, Zhuhai Promenade, Left and Right Stone Gate, Double Dragon Play Beads, Red Bean Pagoda, Pine Tree Screen, and Lion Rolling Hydrangea. The cultural relics that have survived are: "Shimen Shengguo" wall, Ming Dynasty Fang Clan Ancestral Hall, Ancient House Suntai, Hanlin Well, Fishing Ban Monument, Ganling Ancient Road, Red Army Slogans, etc.

The Fang Ancestral Hall (also known as Shude Hall) is located in the village where the stars and moons are arched, and was founded in the 10th year of Ming Yongle (1412), which is a county-level cultural protection unit. In 2020, the Fang Ancestral Hall was renovated and turned into a village history museum. The Village History Museum is placed in four exhibition halls in the four compartments of the upper and lower halls of the Fang Ancestral Hall, through the Xin'an Source, the Long-Standing, the Hometown of the Jinshi, the Beacon Years, the Non-Genetic Inheritance and the Double-sided Wooden Screen engraved with the Fang Family Training, the Yanyuan Endowment, and other relevant historical materials such as cultural relics and agricultural production (daily necessities), etc., comprehensively displaying the historical changes of Zhangyuanli in the past thousand years of "Xin'an Yuanyuan Jinshi Hometown", the spirit of the Fang clan people's reverence for virtue and learning, hard work and enterprising, good neighborliness and friendliness, The ecological concept of a thrifty lifestyle and environmental protection, reverence for nature.

Speaking of Zhangyuan, it is impossible to avoid the four words of "Chongde Duxue": "Chongde" refers to the story of the "wall" house "Taiwu Back" when the Fang Clan Ancestral Hall Shude Hall was being prepared, and the stone stele engraved with "Shimen Yanyuan, Shude Hall Wind" was erected on the side of the Tiger Spring in the right dragon section of huirao ancient road for passers-by to worship, and the shude hall was swept away in southern Anhui and northern Ganbei. In January 2015, the Shuikou Ancient Pavilion was restored, and the villagers spontaneously volunteered to work and completed the task well; at the end of the year, the inscription of the tree was a hundred responses, enthusiastically donated, and in just over 20 days, nearly 20,000 yuan was raised...
"Du Xue" refers to the fact that six of fang you's three generations of grandchildren have all experienced migration and settlement in other places, traveling and laboring, not forgetting to study diligently and diligently in the midst of turbulence and displacement; their descendants have been hanging beams and thorny stocks, poetry and books have been passed down from family to family, and 12 people have successively passed the entrance examination, and the amazing examination performance envies the villagers of the seven miles and eight villages. Ordinary peasant families in Zhangyuan almost every family has a craftsman who has mastered a skill, carpenters, stonemasons, bamboo smiths, coopers, blacksmiths... Learning is endless, and art is on the same side.
