According to a report published by the British Express on February 22 local time, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Wales on March 1 to celebrate St. David's Day.
St. David's Day is known to be the national holiday of Wales. In Wales, a series of St. David's Day celebrations are held every year on 1 March in honor of The Patron Saint david of Wales, st. David' Day.
On St. David's Day, Welsh people wear costumes, one or both of the two national emblems of daffodils and leeks, or hold daffodils in their hands, and hold special concerts and ceremonies to celebrate.
On St David's Day, Prince William, 39, and Kate, 40, will travel to Abergavenny and Brynavin in Wales to learn about the importance of agriculture to rural populations and how community organisations can support young people while celebrating the region's history.
The royal couple will visit Pant Farm near Abergavenny, a goat farm that has been supplying goat milk to local cheese producers for almost 20 years, where they will hear about the challenges and opportunities facing the sector and learn how the farm works with local industries and services.
After spending some time at Pant Farm, William and Kate will visit the Abergavenny Market to see for themselves how important local vendors are to rural communities and to the commemoration of St. David's Day.
Next, Prince William and Princess Kate will visit a community-centred youth centre where they will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the activities the centre hosts, including making Welsh cakes together.
The couple's last joint visit to Wales was in December 2020, when they stopped in Cardiff on a British Royal Train Journey.
Prince William and Princess Kate recently enjoyed a half-semester with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. It is not known whether the family of five stayed at Home Ann Mo Hall in Norfolk during breaks as they did during school holidays.
The Duchess will visit Copenhagen on 23 February with her Royal Foundation Early Childhood Centre for a two-day working visit.
