This recall involves a total of domestic Tesla Model3 12003 vehicles, Model Y 14044 vehicles, the recall range of some vehicles of the heat pump electronic expansion valve positioning will have a slight movement, because the software does not have a correction function, long-term may cause the valve part to open, heat pump compressor stop working, the car heating function fails. In the above state, especially when the temperature outside the car is lower than minus 10 degrees Celsius, the windshield defrosting system cannot achieve the defrosting effect stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations, and the decline of the defrost function adversely affects the driver's field of vision, thereby increasing the possibility of collision risk of the vehicle when driving in cold weather, and there are certain safety hazards.
The staff of the Tesla Center on Nanjing Dongqi Road said: "This recall is for the condensing pipe of the air conditioning system, this time belongs to the online recall, belongs to the software update. ”
In view of the above defects, Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will upgrade the software for the vehicles within the scope of the recall through the remote upgrade technology of the car, and the user can complete the recall without going to the store; for the vehicles that cannot be recalled through the remote upgrade technology of the car, Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will contact the relevant users through the Tesla service center to upgrade the software for the vehicle for free to eliminate security risks: "In fact, it is an upgrade for this module, and the authority of this upgrade is very high.
