Before traveling in ice and snow, the first is to check the condition of the car to make sure it is good, and remember to wear snow chains. In the case of icy roads, uphill skids, etc., snow chains are the most important. Second, you must travel on snow days, but also prepare some food in the car, and bring a travel cup that can be warmed to fill with hot water, in case of emergency, to prevent problems before they occur. Third, as long as there is a gas station, it is necessary to ensure that the vehicle fuel is sufficient. The fourth is to understand the road condition information in advance before traveling, and reasonably plan the driving route.
In addition, the traffic accidents that occur in ice and snow weather mainly include skidding, overturning, scraping collisions and rear-end collisions.
Driving on snow days should take the following measures:
First, reduce the speed, remember not to brake sharply, accelerate sharply. Driving at the speed predicted on the information board and signs, or driving at a speed of about 50 kilometers per hour, is conducive to preventing the vehicle from sliding and shortening the braking distance.
Second, increase the distance between vehicles. The driving distance on snow days should be more than 2-3 times that of dry roads.

When you need to stop, you should take measures in advance, use more gear shifts, use less brakes, and can use the braking effect of the engine to control the speed of the car, and strive to prevent side slippage caused by various reasons.
Fourth, when driving on ice and snow curves or ramps, slow down in advance and pass in one breath. Avoid shifting, stopping or stalling en route.
Fifth, when the road surface is frozen, the vehicle should be driven to the service area or parking area immediately, and the tire chain should be installed or replaced with snow tires in time.
Sixth, if the front wheel slips, the brake should be released in time to correct the direction. Do not hit the steering wheel when driving on ice and snow roads; slowly lift the clutch and slowly refuel when starting; keep a low speed and smooth in driving, keep a uniform speed and drive in a straight line; in order to prevent skidding, stop or decelerate when you can take downshift braking. If the rear wheel slips, correct the steering wheel to the slip side; if the power slips, the acceleration pedal should be lifted in time; in case of lateral slip, the car enters the rotating state, do not panic to take measures, and then start again after the car is stopped.
