Due to the location of the cave far from the village and the impassability of vehicles, fire rescue personnel arrived at the scene after walking nearly 4 kilometers on foot.
It is understood that on the same day, 8 local residents came to the mouth of the cave due to their strange hearts, 2 personnel stayed at the mouth of the cave, and the remaining 6 people entered the cave with their bare hands to explore with their bare hands using ropes tied to the trunk of the tree.
In the process of going down the cave, a man Lin Mou unfortunately fell into the depths of the cave, and Zhu Mou, who was traveling with him, used a rope to go down to the bottom of the cave to rescue Lin Mou, but due to the deep bottom of the cave and Lin Mou's injury, Zhu Mou was also trapped at the bottom of the cave, and the other 4 men returned to the cave entrance for help when they could not be rescued.
After understanding the situation, two fire rescue personnel wore personal protective equipment and carried rescue equipment to the cave for rescue, and the rest of the rescue personnel did a good job of protection and vigilance at the mouth of the cave.
Due to the large number of shrubs around the cave, the raised rocks inside the cave make the cave entrance narrow, and the long-term accumulation of water has caused the rocks around the cave to become slippery and the soil to become soft, which has brought great difficulties to the rescue work.
Rescuers entered the cave and found that the cave was divided into two layers, about 80 meters from the ground, there was a platform on the upper floor, and there was a deep pit of about 50 meters below the platform, and the trapped 2 men were at the bottom of the cave 130 meters from the ground.
After more than 40 minutes, rescuers finally reached the bottom of the cave. Due to Lin's waist injury, coupled with the long time of being trapped, his consciousness began to blur and he could not move. Another companion, Zhu Mou, was slightly injured and conscious.
Therefore, the fire rescue personnel decided to fix the injured Lin on the multi-functional rescue stretcher first, cooperate with the fire rescue personnel at the mouth of the cave, and slowly pull Lin up step by step through the rope, successfully rescued Lin and handed over to the on-site medical staff.
Subsequently, rescuers continued to go down the cave to rescue another trapped person, Zhu Mou.
At nine o'clock in the evening, under the unremitting efforts of rescuers, the rescue lasted seven hours, and finally, all two trapped people were successfully rescued.
