Now Fisker's new concept of electric vehicle PEAR has also officially launched a pre-order in the United States when Fisker announced its 2021 financial report, and it can book $29,900 for only $250, equivalent to about 192,000 yuan of PEAR.
PEAR's full name is Personal Electric Automotive Revolution, and Fisker Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said that in order to create a breakthrough product in the PEAR project, we have rethought all aspects of development, procurement and manufacturing, and the cooperation with Hon Hai will help reduce prices and open up the mass market.
The pre-order in the US market began, in addition to announcing the entry price of $29,990 to jump, but also confirmed that the mass production time will be postponed, from the original Q4 2023 to 2024. Hon Hai will manufacture at its Ohio facility and is expected to produce a maximum of 250,000 units a year.
There is not much detailed information about PEAR at present, only that it is located under the Ocean of another pure electric crossover SUV of Fisker. As for Ocean, as of February 14, 2022, the total order has exceeded 30,000 units, although it is not comparable to the sales volume of mainstream electric vehicle factories, but the order growth rate is still quite amazing. In the third quarter of 2021 alone, 18,600 new cars were booked. If all goes well, sales growth in 2022 is expected to reach 400%.
