Vice Governor Chen Xing demanded: First, we must seize the opportunity to rush to drain the accumulated water from farmland. Adhere to scientific and systematic planning, seize the favorable opportunity to do a good job in farmland drainage, and further enhance the ability to prevent and reduce disasters; second, we must speed up the progress of farm house construction in accordance with procedures. In accordance with the relevant procedures of the housing construction department, do not wait for it, clarify the time node, and accelerate the repair and reconstruction of houses after the disaster under the premise of ensuring the quality of the project and ensuring the safety of construction; the third is to help the masses speed up the restoration of normal life. It is necessary to earnestly listen to the voices of the people, understand the needs of the masses, and on the basis of comprehensive disinfection, further strengthen the technical guidance for moisture removal and mold prevention in flooded houses, so that the lives of the disaster-stricken people can be restored to the pre-disaster level as soon as possible.
After the disaster occurred, our town actively organized the cadres and masses of the town and village to carry out production recovery with all their might. Up to now, a total of more than 200 various types of machinery have been dispatched, 60,000 meters of ditches have been dredged, 15,000 meters of pipelines have been laid, nearly 20,000 mu of water in the field have been eliminated, 15,000 mu of land preparation has been prepared, and more than 7,000 mu of wheat has been sown.
