"De Beers Coolinan Haoyu Blue" obtained the highest color grade in the color evaluation of fancy color diamonds, which is invaluable. Less than 1% of blue diamonds rated by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) fall into this grade. In addition, this diamond has an extreme clarity of "internally flawless" and is extremely polished, and is less than 0.5% type IIb diamonds.

This blue diamond also adds to its charm by the classic rectangular step cut – rectangular cuts are common in white diamonds with higher color clarity and are particularly sought after on rare fancy color diamonds. According to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), "Diamonds that achieve Fancy Vivid grades in a square cut are extremely rare because most other fancy cuts enhance the color saturation of the diamond at a positive upward angle than the rectangular step cut." For a cut diamond to reach a Fancy Vivid grade, there are extremely high requirements for the color of the diamond itself, which must be more intense than other cut-shaped diamonds. ”
