Gu Ailing won the gold medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics again!
In the just-concluded freestyle ski women's U-shaped venue skill final, Gu Ailing, an athlete from the Chinese delegation, won the victory by an absolute advantage and won his second gold medal at the Winter Olympics.
Like yesterday's qualifiers, Gu Ailing became the only player in this round to exceed 90 points in the first skate in the final round of the three rounds, and scored 93.25 points that were enough to impact the gold medal.
Although defending champion and Canada's Cathy Sharp also scored a high score of 90 points in the second round, Gu Ailing was even better. With 95.25 points, she once again set a new record in the final, further consolidating her position in the first place.
In the third round, since none of the other players surpassed the highest score created by Gu Ailing in the second round, she had already locked the gold medal in advance before she started her last skate.
In addition to winning the gold medal in women's U-shaped track skills, Gu Ailing also won the gold medal in the big jump and the silver medal in the slope obstacle course in other previous freestyle skiing debuts.
Gu Ailing's gold medal is also the eighth gold medal of the Chinese delegation at the Winter Olympics.
