The two also became close revolutionary comrades-in-arms from superior and subordinate relations, and later, under the mediation of Mr. He, Liao Lanxiang's eldest son (Liao Hansheng) and his second sister He Peng's daughter Xiao Genggen were made dolls.
Just when Liao Hansheng was ten years old, his father suddenly died of illness, and for many years thereafter, Liao Lanxiang's widow and children lived thanks to the care of Mr. He. At the age of 22, he became the political commissar of the Red Army Division

One day in 1932, Liao Hansheng happened to meet he at the headquarters of He Lao, and he was surprised to find that Zhu Shengwen, who had joined the guerrilla group together, had now become a division commander of the Red Army, and he was only a guerrilla. By November 1935, the Red Second and Sixth Army was about to start the Long March, and the departure place was not far from his family Qiaozi Bay, and he had not returned home for nearly two years, and he also wanted to go home to have a look before leaving. However, thinking that he was already the political commissar of the division, and that every word and deed affected the mood of the commanders and fighters of the whole division, he could only give up this idea.
