The upcoming UFC Fighting Night 202 tournament held in Las Vegas, Beijing time, the headlines of the day changed, Beneil Dariush was temporarily withdrawn due to training injuries, and the current news said that The American Bobby Green will play off the bench against Russian rising star Islam Makhachev.

Bobby Green (29-12-1, 10 K, 8 S) is 35 years old and has a height of 178cm with an arm span of 180cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2008, winning the WFC and TFA Lightweight Championships that year, the KOTC Light Middleweight Championship in 2010 and the defending title once, and the KOTC Lightweight Championship in 2011. He joined the UFC in 2013 with a score of (19-5) and four consecutive wins, and has achieved a record of (10-7-1) at the UFC so far. In 2020, he won three consecutive victories over Clay Guida, Lando Vannata and Alan Patrick. He then suffered two consecutive defeats, losing to Thiago Moises and Rafael Fiziev. The most recent two-game winning streak was TKO Al Iaquinta in November, just after a point-out victory over Nasrat Haqparast in February.

Islam Makhachev (21-1, 3 K, 10 S) is 30 years old and has a height of 178cm with an arm span of 179cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2010, joined the UFC tournament in 2015 as an undefeated (11-0), and won his debut in May, but suffered his first career defeat in the October match by the first KO loss. Since 2016, there has been a nine-game winning streak, including a points win over Arman Tsarukyan in April 2019, a points win over Davi Ramos in September, Drew Dober in the third set last March, Thiago Moises in the fourth in July and Dan Hooker in the first leg in October. Makhachev is currently ranked No. 4 in the UFC official lightweight rankings.
