Nguyen grew up under the influence of Chinese culture – thanks to the fact that her father was a Vietnamese language teacher. Nguyen Thi Rong said that in addition to Vietnamese literature, Chinese literature books are the most numerous. Under the influence of her father, Ruan Alsorong also became interested in China and Chinese culture.

In addition to reading books, Ruan Chuirong also learns about Chinese culture by watching film and television works, and she likes to watch the well-known "Journey to the West", "Water Margin", "Divine Eagle Hero" and so on.

Ruan's favorite is "The Golden Powder Family". She said that the picture of Young Master Jin encountering Leng Qingqiu in a small alley was very beautiful and impressed her. Coincidentally, one of the filming locations of "The Golden Powder Family" is Tianjin Foreign Chinese University, and perhaps since then, Ruan Chuirong and Tianwai have formed a certain fate.

From the year of the horn to the year of the peach and plum, Chinese culture has witnessed her growth. The seed of "China" took root and sprouted in Nguyen's heart.

A shift in the impression of China

Ruan Tri rong came to Shanghai to study in 2014. In the three years of studying abroad, she believes that she has improved in many ways, not only has her ability to live independently has become stronger, but her concept has also changed significantly. Chinese culture is like a trickle, slowly flowing into Ruan's heart.

She, like many Vietnamese, had mistaken her belief that China's pollution situation was particularly severe, especially in Beijing, but after Nguyen visited Beijing twice, what she saw and heard completely changed her stereotype, "The air in Beijing is much better than in Hanoi," she lamented.

In addition, in the three years of living in China, Ms. Nguyen has also raised her awareness of the environment – which is where she thinks she grew the most. In order to form a more environmentally friendly and low-carbon lifestyle, she has developed the habit of reducing the use of plastic bags, "In Chinese supermarkets, plastic bags need to be charged, which can reduce the frequency of people using plastic bags, which is a very effective measure." Ruan Tri Rong said. Even though she has returned to Vietnam, she still insists on using less plastic bags.

In just three years, The China in Ruan's heart has undergone earth-shaking changes.

Ruan often uses her vacation to travel to some cities in China, not only appreciating China's customs and customs, but also enriching her understanding of China. Recalling the time of visiting the West Lake, Ruan Chuirong sighed, "The lotus flowers in the West Lake in summer are very beautiful, it is very cool to walk in the Su Causeway, and the lotus fragrance blown over makes people feel very comfortable." ”

Nguyen was obsessed with a small incident during her trip. She booked a homestay when she went to Hangzhou, the landlord's sister was very hearty, the landlord was not at home that day and could not personally greet her, but in the evening she specially asked a friend to bring her milk tea, "I was really warmed!" She said.

A simple cup of milk tea soothed the fatigue of Ruan Chuirong's journey and also soothed the restlessness and uneasiness in the heart of the wanderer.

Vietnam's "Chinese Fever"

Nowadays, the unique charm of Chinese culture itself has attracted more Vietnamese people to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture.

The Confucius Institute at Hanoi University was the first Confucius Institute in Vietnam. Since its establishment, the number of Chinese students has reached thousands, and nearly 29,000 people have participated in various cultural activities held by the college.

In Vietnam, many students will share their learning Chinese and application experience in China on the Internet, and it is through the Internet that Ruan Chui Rong learned about the "Chinese Bridge" "Story China" project of the School of International Communication of Tianjin University of Foreign Chinese.

In 2017, Nguyen Thi Rong ended her study abroad life in China and returned to Vietnam. In the beginning, she was mainly responsible for connecting and arranging receptions with Chinese travel companies, which could both play out her Chinese strengths and suit her hobbies of travel. However, with the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic and the cold winter in the tourism industry, she bravely changed her job and chose to become a Chinese teacher. She is confident in her new job, "It makes sense to help people who like Chinese, like China, or need to learn Chinese." Ruan Tri rong told reporters that China has now built many factories in Vietnam, bringing many employment opportunities to the people of these cities.

She admitted that she studied translation before, and then transferred to enterprise management, and she really lacked experience in teaching, "This time I participated in the Chinese Bridge Project of Tianjin Foreign Chinese University, and the teaching methods of the teachers gave me great inspiration. I learned a lot from every teacher. ”

Since Nguyen Thi Rong's students are all over Vietnam, online courses account for a large part, how to make students interested in the curriculum, how to attract students' attention is very important to her. "Through this study, the courses of Mr. Fan Xiang and Mr. Huo Yining in the curriculum class have given me great inspiration." In the class of these two teachers, Ruan Chui Rong found that they not only arranged the knowledge points of grammar and Chinese culture, but also found a lot of videos about the course, or designed some games, which made her think the content was very vivid and interesting.

Similarly, participating in Rong Rong's live class gave her a deeper understanding of how to analyze and use grammar. Ruan Chuirong said that her biggest dream now is to use what she has learned to help more people in her hometown and become a person who contributes to society.
