"We are still 7 days away from the unveiling of the first production version of the FF91! This achievement marks production milestone #4 – mass-producing pre-production vehicles for final engineering validation and certification. Join the live stream on February 23, 2022 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. That is to say, the FF 91 mass production version will be released at 8:00 a.m. Beijing time on February 24.
Previously, Faraday Future said that FF is building the Hanford plant into an advanced production base, and FF is building advanced facilities using highly skilled processes and leading automated production processes to rival the world's top luxury car manufacturers. Since going public in July last year, FF has completed three of its seven manufacturing milestones, including the installation of equipment to support the production and manufacturing of pre-production vehicles, and the qualification for final production use of the factory, paving the way for the mass production of pre-production vehicles.
Now that FF's third manufacturing milestone at the Hanford facility has been completed, the remaining production milestones include:
Milestone #3 (Completed): Started infrastructure in the remaining production areas, including body shops, powertrain shops, warehouses and final assembly shops
Milestone #4: Mass manufacture of pre-production vehicles for final engineering validation and certification
Milestone #5: All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are operational to support the final installation
● Milestone #6: Complete all infrastructure construction and equipment installation in the main vehicle manufacturing area
Final milestone: SOP achieved in the summer of 2022
