In the 22nd issue of the "Operator" magazine in 2015, there was an interview with Mr. Xu Rengen, the title of which was "Xu Rengen: A Rare Strongman".

In this interview, Mr. Xu Rengen said that the Sichuan automobile factory he assigned after graduating from university is itself a product of the 1960s, China's introduction of French Bellier company GBU (6×6) heavy-duty off-road vehicle technology.

Under the leadership of Xu Rengen, the "Sichuan Automobile" military conversion in the 1980s was very smooth, and the "Sichuan Automobile" fist product of Hongyan CQ19210 was developed under the leadership of Xu Rengen, but at that time, the cab of the Hongyan heavy truck could not be produced by the mainland, and the cab was imported from Romania.

Because of Mr. Xu Rengen's excellent work in "Sichuan Automobile", in June 1990, he was officially transferred to China National Automobile Corporation as the chief engineer (main hall), and in the following year, that is, in 1991, Xu Rengen began to concurrently serve as the general manager and party secretary of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group. According to Mr. Xu's recollection, his work status at that time was basically: every morning to Beijing for a meeting, immediately after the opening, he returned to Jinan, at most 6 days a week, running around every day.

By the way, at this time, Ms. Xu Xin was still working in the sales department of the headquarters of the Bank of China and was serving as the deputy section chief, that is, in 1991, Mr. Xu Rengen was also the general manager and secretary of the party group of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, and Ms. Xu Xin, who originally graduated from the foreign language major, was sent to Hong Kong by the Bank of China to receive CPA training (there was no training quota in the original business department, it was the leader who won ms. Xu Xin) to receive CPA training, and since then, she has embarked on the road of "investment queen". Of course, LanTai absolutely believes that all this is the result of Ms. Xu Xin's self-struggle and has nothing to do with Mr. Xu Rengen.

In summary, from Mr. Xu Rengen's account, even in the 1960s, we were still introducing advanced western technology, and the West did not blockade us in terms of civilian equipment and technology.
