In order to drive the electric car home, I made a lot of preparations before going on the road, and I had already determined the route and the charging pile along the way, and deliberately chose the service area route with more charging piles. Instead of driving the car home, there is another reason is that I bought this car last summer, but I have never driven home, and frankly, most of the money in the car is sponsored by my parents, so I want to drive over to let them see.
Because of my work, I can only go home at the peak of the Spring Festival. The place of work is about 700 kilometers to the city where my home is located. It was about noon and arrived at 2 a.m., charging twice, once for 1 hour and once for more than 20 minutes.
The journey home was relatively smooth, so I tacitly agreed that the situation back to the city might be the same. But the return trip is far less smooth than when it came, not long to encounter a big traffic jam, frequent braking, acceleration is actually very power-consuming, about halfway to the time, my car endurance is only more than 100 kilometers, and then I thought about the reason, in addition to traffic jams, there is a factor is that the return trip is the opposite route, need to drive from south to north, the temperature is lower, but also aggravated the battery attenuation.
At this time, I decided to go to the nearby service area to replenish the electricity, and when I arrived at the service area, I found that the service area was actually being renovated, and there was no charging pile. At that time, I was a little anxious, I could only find the service area again, in order to save electricity I had to drive to the next service area as soon as possible, but in order to save electricity, I needed to drive at a uniform speed. When I got to the next service area, bad things happened again, and there were no charging piles in this service area. I was completely confused.
The reality is that at this time, the cruising range is only about 40 kilometers, and there are more than 30 kilometers to reach the next service area, first, I am afraid of lying in the middle of the road, it is impossible to arrive; second, I am also worried that there is no charging pile in the next service area. Because it was my first long run and I had no experience, I wanted to call a rescue truck and tow my car away. A check on the Internet found that the trailer cost thousands of dollars at least, and I was persuaded to quit at that time.
I can only continue to think of a way, I sent a circle of friends, a friend said, you can go down the highway to the city to find piles. In fact, I wasn't sure if I could find it even if I got off the highway, but there was no other way at the time, I could only try it. Fortunately, I finally found a charging pile in the city, and it was a fast charge.
In the process of charging, I told myself that next time it is absolutely impossible to drive an electric car out to run at high speed, it is too dangerous, in case my car really stops on the highway halfway, the consequences are unbearable. Electric cars have given me the "sequelae of finding piles."

My way home to drive a new energy EMU car is very smooth, basically all the way down, the road conditions are good, and I have not encountered any charging queue phenomenon, but I came out of a usual driving conclusion through this time: for electric vehicles, speed and electricity must be two aspects that run counter to each other, and the higher the speed of the electric vehicle, the greater the power consumption. In front of speed and battery, I choose the battery. Because I have two cars, a tram and a gas car, the usual feeling is not so obvious.
For fuel vehicles, the line change is not a big problem, re-planning the route can be; but for electric vehicles is not so, you have to consider that if you change the route, there is no charging station on the way, it will fall into a very passive situation, I also encountered such a situation on the road, high-speed traffic jams, I originally wanted to change the route, but in order to ensure safety, I could only give up, but fortunately, it did not take long to move forward smoothly.
Secondly, compared with fuel vehicles, the speed goes up but saves fuel, if the highway conditions are good, it saves time and money, but the tram has another trouble, and the high speed brings higher power consumption. The tram saves about 60 yards per hour, and if the speed goes up to 100 yards, the power consumption will rise sharply. My speed went to 80 yards, and the speed was directly attenuated by half, which forced me to give up speed again and save power.
In addition, in the winter, the air conditioner will also further consume electricity, it is no exaggeration to say that if the whole process of warm air, the endurance will only be able to walk a third of the way, so I can only make a choice again, open for a while, turn off for a while, just like this to complete the whole process.

At the beginning of the journey is still very smooth, my friends and I downloaded a lot of charging APP and map APP, just in case the information is not accurate, it will cause a delay in charging time.
On this trip, I have tried almost all the charging methods, charging on the highway, using third-party charging pile charging, brand-built charging pile charging. It is also a problem that all the charging has been encountered. Some charging piles need to be queued, then I will not consider it at all, the speed rushes to the next charging station, and the speed is actually time. Instead of waiting at this charging station, it is better to drive to the next charging station to try your luck, but there have also been cases where two consecutive charging stations have to queue up, and for the sake of safety, there is no way but to wait.
Also encountered, a service area in only 4 charging pile charge, some of the pile interface is directly bad can not be used, some used to find very slow, replaced by a still very slow, and then changed one, people told me that the entire service area on this power.
On the highway, we have also witnessed that some people are driving in down jackets and gloves, and they don't have to think about it, that is, to save air conditioning, and not to open air conditioning can save electricity. But I didn't think much about saving electricity along the way, because I knew that this journey was destined to fight charging.
The whole journey is about 1,000 kilometers, and I have probably stopped in more than 10 service areas, and almost half of the time I have been charging. Counting down, I left at 8 o'clock in the daytime, arrived in the early morning of the 2nd day, the whole journey took 17 hours, on average every 200 kilometers I needed to charge, not necessarily need to charge, but because I was afraid, I was afraid that the next service area could not find the charging pile. Overall, it is a thrill.

And I think everyone has a tacit understanding, not a particular loss of electricity, everyone basically charged up for a while and left, because they are all going home, they are in a hurry.
Because my car was bought early, there is no battery heating function, charging is particularly slow, and the low temperature in winter also aggravates the power consumption. So I made up about 3 times on my way home, which took more than 6 hours. In fact, according to the calculation of an account, the tram is really more cost-effective, according to the distance of less than 500 kilometers, the fuel money is almost 500 yuan, and according to my car, the average electricity is a dime, it is less than 100 yuan. But the cost of time is actually an invisible cost, if the fuel car I will be home in 3 hours, drive the tram for more than 6 hours, or to ensure that each charging pile is installed on the power. Therefore, how to choose depends on personal circumstances.

The next morning, I continued my journey home, the way back is to stop and go, about less than 80 kilometers to charge, and my car is old, so the charge is also slow, it takes 1 hour to fill, so basically I walk 1 hour, charge 1 hour, every 2 service areas I need to stop and charge, especially strenuous. The last charge I waited until it was full, before I dared to go, just so that I could get home smoothly.
After arriving home, there are troubles, because we are here in a small place, not as good as a big city, there are charging piles almost everywhere in the big city, usually I go to the mall to shop can be charged by the way, the company can also charge, but after returning to my hometown, I found that the nearest charging pile to my home is also 6 or 7 kilometers, very inconvenient, so now I also plan to install another pile at home, really find trouble for myself, I regret it, it is better to sell the car.
