Lai Sheguang, former chairman of the Yueyang Municipal CPPCC Committee, Pan Hongjun, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of Nanhu New District, and Su Zhengming, member of the District Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee, jointly unveiled the plaque for the new community.
On behalf of the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of Nanhu New District, Pan Hongjun congratulated the successful unveiling of the Nanhu Community Neighborhood Committee. He said that the overwhelming majority of residents in the Nanhu community are old comrades of Baling Petrochemical and have made outstanding contributions to the petrochemical cause in Yueyang; the district party working committee and management committee have the responsibility and obligation to serve and take good care of everyone; the relevant departments at all levels directly under the district should give full support and make every effort to help; and the leading bodies of the two committees of the Nanhu community should unite their efforts, really do solid work, and build the community into a "service station" and "place of the people's hearts" for residents.
It is reported that the Nanhu community is a community of the social functions of the state-owned enterprises of Baling Petrochemical and transferred to the management committee of the Nanhu New Area, with an area of about 0.25 square kilometers, and has jurisdiction over nanhu, Yuebin, lou district audit bureau, mass art museum, talent garden, Tianma six communities and a reservoir lane original settlement, with 1699 households and 4248 people living permanently. There are 7 members of the community branch and the neighborhood committee, including 6 party members, and there are 333 party members in the general branch, of which 311 are retired, and there are 8 party branches under the general branch. Since its establishment in July 2021, based on the status quo, the community has vigorously implemented a series of foundation work such as the construction of public service centers, the planning and design of the three community centers, and the election of the two committees, so as to sing the brand of party building in the south lake of the same boat, cultivate the culture of the same boat, and use the red grid work method of party building to promote the work of the community.
In recent years, a total of 24 communities (villages) have been set up in Nanhu New Area, and the community office services have achieved full coverage, and the "Micro-Speech and Great Righteousness" Residents Convention of the Lakeside Community, the "Neighborhood Pioneer Line" Community Work Method of the Yunmeng Community, the "Micro-Speech and Great Righteousness Conference Hall" of the Quest Street, and the "Three Societies Linkage" Trinity Governance Work Experience of Nanhu Street have been commended and promoted by the state, provinces and municipalities at all levels, and the social governance pattern of "Co-construction, Co-governance and Sharing" has been further highlighted.
After the unveiling ceremony, Pan Hongjun and the guests visited the Nanhu Community Public Service Center and put forward guiding opinions on the operation and management of the community.
