According to a recent update released by Samuel Jackson, the Marvel episode "Secret Invasion" is in production.

The actor who plays Nick Fury posted a photo on his Instagram account, wearing a T-shirt printed with Nick Fury, which gradually turns to dust, referring to the ending of Avengers 3: Infinity War.

The Secret Invasion will premiere in 2022 with six episodes. The show announced in 2020 that Jackson would continue to play Nick Fury, Ben Mendelson would return to play Talos, and Kingsley Ben-Adil would play the main villain. Other cast members include Game of Thrones star Emilia Clark and Crown star Olivia Coleman.

The Secret Invasion comics primarily tell the story of the Skrulls, an alien shapeshifter who invaded Earth and replaced some of the Avengers. In the MCU, we've seen Skrulls play relatively friendly roles in the movie Captain Marvel and other productions, so it remains to be seen what kind of plot Secret Invasion will portray.
