Malacca, February 14 (Xinhua) -- The "2022 Ren Yin New Year Collection Retrospective Exhibition" opened on the 14th at the Zheng He Duo Yun Xuan Pavilion in Malacca, Malaysia.

The event was co-organized by the Malacca Historic Centre (Jonker Street) Working Council and the Zheng He Duo Yun Xuan (Malacca) Art Museum, co-organized by nanyang painting institute and co-organized by Melaka Old Street Chamber of Commerce. Yan Tianlu said that the art of calligraphy and painting, as a treasure of Chinese national culture, is an important carrier for establishing non-governmental friendship and promoting cultural exchanges. He also pointed out that the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) officially entered into force this year, which will further promote win-win cooperation, mutual benefit and complementarity among The Member States of Malaysia and China, and the Chinese exchanges between Malaysia and China should also conform to the trend, with art as the link and culture as the pioneer, to enhance people-to-people exchanges and communication and mutual trust between the two peoples.

Huang Wenqing, curator of Zheng He Duo Yun Xuan, told reporters that as an important platform for Chinese exchanges in Malacca, Zheng He Duo Yun Xuan has held more than 60 cultural and artistic friendly exchange activities since its establishment. Huang Wenqing said that despite the impact of the epidemic, the art museum will continue to innovate the interactive model, continue to play a platform for art dissemination and friendly exchanges between Malaysia and Southeast Asia, and be ready to re-promote transnational art and cultural exchange activities after the epidemic.
