AMD announced the completion of its all-stock acquisition of Xilinx

AMD's official website released a statement on February 14 that AMD today completed the acquisition of xilinx's full stock transaction.

On October 27, 2020, AMD announced that it will acquire Xilinx, the world's largest programmable chip (FPGA), in an all-stock transaction worth up to $35 billion.

Former Xilinx CEO Victor Peng will join AMD as President of the newly formed Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG). AMD expects the acquisition to have an impact on non-GAAP margin, non-GAAP earnings per share and free cash flow in the first year.
