It turned out that a few days ago, she and 4 small friends went to Longquan Village in Xinxiang County to watch the light show, the light show was very beautiful, they took the mobile phone while dancing, taking pictures at the same time, and had a good time. Later, when I inadvertently turned over my mobile phone, I suddenly found that my mobile phone was broken, and the mobile phones of the other three small partners were also broken, two mobile phones had black screens and two mobile phones were flower screens. They are very strange about this, which is also too coincidental!
Until they went to the repair shop, the maintenance staff asked them, did they go to the light show? Are there laser lights in the light show? They suddenly understood that on the day of the light show, they were indeed next to the magic laser lights, playing for a long time, and taking pictures. The maintenance staff then said that the light show laser would illuminate the camera.
Why can lasers damage cameras?
This has to start from the principle of taking pictures. To put it simply, when taking a photo, the light reflected by the object enters through the lens, and then through the Bayer filter to let the red, green, and blue colors pass, and then through the photosensitive film to sense the intensity of the light, converted into an electrical signal, and then through the circuit processing, you can save a scene.
It can be seen that the camera itself processes light. But as a special kind of light, laser color is purer than ordinary light, energy is greater, and the wavelength range is large, from infrared to ultraviolet light, there is a laser presence. As a result, lasers are able to damage the camera.
Laser damage to the camera, there are two main aspects:
1. Damage filter.
Lasers of a specific wavelength degrade the dye on the filter, causing the filter to lose its function.
2. Damage photosensitive film
Photosensitive sheets, also known as photosensitive elements, are mainly divided into ccD and CMOS. Simply put, the photosensitive element is to convert the light into a charge, and the light of different brightness forms a charge of different strengths. However, the laser energy is larger, after entering the camera, the light gathers on a point, and this point on the photosensitive element will be burned out, and the photosensitive element is generally the working mode of row/column scanning, so, in general, the peer/column of this point will also be damaged.
Finally, although the Lantern Festival lights will be good, when watching and playing, pay attention to stay away from the laser lights, do not shoot with mobile phones, laser lights will damage the filters and photosensitive elements of the camera. Similarly, the retina of the human eye is also equivalent to a photoreceptor, and there is a certain danger of being irradiated by lasers.
