This time, R-Lab's domestic business was abolished, the international takeaway technical team was merged into the international department, and the former general manager of the R-Lab business department, Rowan, will focus on the products of Didi Car.
Subsequently, the leaders of Didi's travel businesses such as ride-hailing, two-wheelers, and freight have received layoff notices. Didi sources say the entire layoff plan will be implemented very quickly. Notice of layoffs will be completed by the end of February. Didi's year-end bonus will not be issued until the end of February, and the year-end bonus of some laid-off employees may be affected.
It is understood that by January 2022, Didi's average daily single volume is about 20 million, which is 1/5 lower than the 25 million orders disclosed in the listing prospectus. Didi's share of the ride-hailing market has also dropped from nearly 90% to 70%.
