Mayang is located in Wuling Mountain Area, Hunan, is one of the five single ethnic minority counties in the country, the county's economic development is lagging behind, the county-level finance is very tight, and it belongs to the provincial-level poor county. The total area of the forensic technology room is 1200 square meters, with more than 20 technical rooms, and the "DNA" laboratory room is reserved in the city's county-level public security organs. It has high-tech instruments and equipment such as super laser biological evidence discovery instrument, ultra-wide spectrum digital photography system, and difficult footprint scanning system. The Forensic Technology Department has 4 majors of traces, forensics, imaging technology and electronic physical evidence, and is equipped with 4 forensic doctors, 4 trace technicians, 3 imaging technicians, and 2 auxiliary police civilians. At the same time, the bureau's party committee has favored criminal technical talents in terms of meritorious awards, promotions and reuse. In recent years, many comrades in the Criminal Technology Office have been rated as advanced individuals at the municipal level, won third-class merits and commendations, and 3 police officers have been promoted and reused.

The ability to build investigative means has been comprehensively improved, and the completion rate of male family construction is 100%, and the collection rate of family blood samples has reached the upstream level of the city.
