In the first round of the competition, China's Gu Ailing appeared first in the group (a total of 27 people in the group) and scored 57.28 points (ranked 11th). Another Chinese player, Yang Shuorui, came in 26th place, scoring 18.46 points (ranked 21st).
In the second round, Gu Ailing played steadily, scoring 79.38 points, raising his personal ranking to no. 3 in the group. Yang Shuorui will play in the penultimate position later.
Promotion rules: The best results in the two rounds of individual qualifying, and the 12 athletes with the best results will advance to the final.
