Gou Jianwen, born in December 1959, Character Hanlin, a native of Wushan County, Gansu Province, with a college degree, has won special prizes, gold awards and silver medals in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition for many times. He is currently an academician of Ningyuan Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, a senior title in calligraphy art, a director of the China Calligraphy and Painting Association, a vice chairman and director of the China Contemporary Artists Association, a member of the China Famous Calligraphers association, a member of the China Culture and Art Promotion Federation, and an advisor of the China International Artists Association.

He was awarded the titles of "1978-2008 China's Top 100 Selected Artists", "Top 100 Song Ci Calligraphy Artists", "Republic of China Red Heritage Calligraphy and Painting Masters", "Contemporary Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Expo Meritorious Artists", "Chinese Contemporary Art Masters", "Chinese Book Circles 100 Masters", "Chinese Calligraphy And Fine Arts" and other titles.

His works have been included in the compilation of "1978-2008 Modern Calligraphy and Painting Art Award", "Collection of Works of National Middle-aged and Elderly Calligraphers and Painters presented to the 60th Birthday of the Motherland in the Prosperous China", "Classic of Famous Masterpieces of China in the Past Sixty Years", "Selected Works of New Chinese Calligraphy", "Collection of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Collection", "Collection of Relatives and Calligraphy and Painting on Both Sides of the Strait", "Catalogue of Famous Works of Chinese Contemporary Red Calligraphy and Painting".
