Professor Peng Wei's work "Can't Do" pays tribute to the spirit of the times of hard work, enterprising and upward progress through the portrayal of Xu Haifeng, Lang Ping, Ye Qiaobo, Yao Ming, Yang Yang, Han Xiaopeng, Wang Mao, Wu Dajing and other eight famous champions and sports figures who represent the Chinese sports and Olympic spirit, as well as the achievements of ice and snow projects.

Professor Xie Guangyue's work "Upward" mainly describes the different postures of ski competition athletes in the air and gliding upwards, and the composition of the picture pays attention to the blank layout, and finds the subtle changes in its color and space in the overlapping shapes, so that it has the spirit of the times of upward progress.

Mr. Shi Fu's work "Bright Sword" is inspired by the charm of the Olympic fencing project and the touch of watching his nephew in the Chongqing Youth Fencing Competition. The work adopts a fusion of figurative and abstract expression to depict the strong light of life , movement. Bright, meaning "glowing", emits the light of life of athletes under the reflection of the mirror. The sword, also known as the "King of a Hundred Soldiers", shows the superb skills of the athletes in the flow of sword shadows.

Student Xie Jiongming's work "Wu Dajing at the Moment of Winning Gold" uses large blank spaces and multiple versions of chromatic techniques to depict the moment when Wu Dajing, a chinese men's short track speed skating team athlete, broke the world record and won China's first gold medal in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in the men's 500m final of short track speed skating at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

These works colorfully sketch and shape the great Olympic spirit, and help to create a cultural and artistic atmosphere for the Beijing Winter Olympics, which is not only a cheer for Olympic athletes, but also a drum and shout for the close connection of human destiny under the epidemic.

It is reported that the "Beijing Biennale" is co-sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the China Artists Association, and undertaken by the China Artists Association, and is known as "the world's largest international art biennale focusing on painting and sculpture". The 9th Beijing Biennale was officially listed as a city cultural activity by the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, with the theme of "Light of Life", interpreting the Olympic spirit and anti-epidemic spirit from the perspective of art, setting off the humanistic and artistic atmosphere of the Winter Olympics, and playing an important function of the international cultural exchange platform.
