Lin Shirong originally led the disciples to mediate, but the theater colluded with the government to suppress it. Lin Shirong was also not a vegetarian, and together with the four most famous disciples under his command, Deng Er, Guan Kun, Tan Yi, Kong Jihe, and other disciples, they killed a bloody road and escaped.

Although Lin Shirong was highly skilled in martial arts and had many disciples, he could not compete with the official government and had to flee to Guangxi under the government's want. The Xiguan Martial Arts Hall, which he had created by himself, was also destroyed.

In 1918, it had already entered the Republic of China. Lin Shirong returned to Guangzhou, where he had been away for many years, and served as the head of the martial arts instructor in Li Fulin's "Fu Army", even if he was on the march and fighting, he would not delay his cultivation. In 1921, when Lin Shirong was sixty years old, his life ended a whole sixty-year exercise cycle, indicating that he would return to the starting point and eat and drink like a baby. Therefore, as soon as a person reaches the age of 60, he can do longevity. This year, Lin Shirong received the largest and most precious birthday gift in his life. He performed with superb martial arts at the donation collection site of the Guangzhou Orphanage at that time. This righteous act was praised by Sun Yat-sen, who awarded him a silver medal in the name of the President. This is undoubtedly the biggest highlight of his life. In the 1930s, Lin Shirong moved to Hong Kong, where he not only opened a museum to teach apprentices, but also created a precedent for modern martial arts writing in Guangdong, and wrote books such as "I-character Fu Hu Fist", "Tie Xian Ju", "Tiger Crane Double Shape Fist" and so on. Because he felt that the martial arts world had been stuck in itself for a long time, it was not conducive to its development. Many martial arts secrets are not revealed, and people who practice martial arts often practice three times and end up five more, for fear of being peeked at by others; masters even teach six to stay four, afraid that the disciples will all learn and starve the master.
