What makes the world-class athletes in the U-shaped field of snowboarding participate in five Winter Olympics, the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics gold medalist, and the fourth place in this Winter Olympics, 35-year-old Sean White burst into tears. Because after this competition, Sean White, one of the greatest athletes in the history of the Winter Olympics, is about to announce his retirement. The audience stood up and applauded him, and Scotty James, the Australian runner-up in the competition, gave a touching speech:

"I've never expressed that. To Sean, this was clearly a great respect for him. I mean, this guy is like a goat. Over the years, I've competed with him here and become competitors, which is crazy. I've never said before that it's a very tough and interesting situation because of meeting someone like Sean White. I admired him when I was young and I aspired to be like him. I got to that level, I became very competitive and I had a lot of respect for him, but as a competitor I almost had to get rid of that respect because we were all trying to win".

There is no doubt that it was the respect of the audience and these touching speeches that poked Sean White's tears.

Tribute to all the athletes who persevere, brave hardships and work hard for their dreams!
